ZEB AND BEL 2: Night of the Bodega Cat

Cover of the graphic novel ZEB AND BEL: NIGHT OF THE BODEGA CAT. It has a color illustration of Zeb, a tricolored dog, and Bel, a black cat, triumphantly entering the doorway of a bodega. We're looking at them from inside the bodega, and there are shelves of food on both sides of them. The interior is all blue, looking like night time with the lights out. Right behind them is a lightning bolt. sending a golden cone of light into the store that lights up Zeb and Bel (the cat and dog.) We also see paw prints on the floor, fruit candy wrappers, and the sillhouette of a cat head shadow cast on the floor.

If you loved every page of ZEB AND BEL: A CASE OF BIRD PROBLEMS as much as I loved writing and drawing it, well.. guess what? Here’s another mystery featuring this sibling dog and cat detective duo!

Mysteries persist in Perpleck City when a dark and stormy night brings a power outage to the apartment complex! In the darkness, Zeb, Bel, and their human Josephine’s slumber are visited by the Haunted Hungry Hand–a ghostly, glowing human hand that steals their snacks!

The HHH is a longstanding ghost story in Perpleck City, but Bel is convinced there’s a more earthly explanation. Zeb and Bel’s investigation takes them all over the apartment complex and even across the street to the bodega. Dave, the Bodega Cat (and Zeb’s new BFF!) wants to help solve the mystery, too, but Bel doesn’t know whether they can trust this shady character who has charmed her goofy brother. (And no, she’s definitely not jealous!)

Twists and turns, shadowy entities, and a heated game of ping-pong abound as this delightful team work to crack the case.
